It is with great privilege that I write this recommendation for Boubacar Dembele as a former colleague at Highdown School (Reading, UK). I have found him to be a pleasant, generous person who is never afraid to take on a challenging task. Boubacar is an independent, self-directed person who is able to communicate effectively and meet even the most demanding challenges.
During his three years at Highdown School he has brought tremendous transformation into the school. As an excellent teacher he improved learners’ performance by 15% (at GCSE) and initiated creative changes in the curriculum for IT. He also used his expertise in new technologies to supervise the purchase and implementation process of the school learning platform. As the school E-learning coordinator his leadership was outstanding; he organized large scale training for staff and ensured that the school objectives were met.
Alongside his role as a teacher and his responsibilities as E-learning coordinator, Boubacar also led the school IT evening club for parents which became very popular within the local community. Finally, while his job performance was nothing less than stellar, Boubacar offered to share his experience by becoming a mentor for newly qualified teachers.
I highly recommend him for employment with any Educational organization. He is a team player, a great person and an outstanding professional.
