FOUNDER

Humanistic at heart

Picture
Boubacar is a French national who came to England in order to deepen his knowledge of Computer Science and to specialize in New Media Applications. While he was studying, and until the successful completion of his MSc, he worked as a ICT Advisor at Teesside University Learning and Information Services and as a teaching assistant of French. This last job started a fortunate chain of events which lead to the obtaining of his Qualified Teacher Status in I.C.T.

After becoming E-Learning coordinator while he was still completing his Newly Qualified Teacher year, Boubacar has been involved in various consultation groups such as, the learning forum or the year 7 curriculum modification group.  He also played an important role in the Creative Partnership Projects during the three years spent at Highdown School.
While carrying out his duties as a teacher at Highdown School, he has also taken the responsibility for supervising a group of learners working on the Friends of Caversham Court Garden website. He cherished the incredible experience gained while at Highdown and decided to share it through his participation in school for the Future.
Indeed, Boubacar is already very familiar with community projects. In his hometown in France, he worked for non-for-profit organisation called A.J.L.A (Association de Jeunes du Laos etleurs Amis) helping learners coming from school complete their homework. After a few months, he became a member of the board of directors and eventually, he set up a training centre in computer science with the aid of the local branch of the Rotary Club.

According to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Boubacar Dembele is the Extraverted iNtuition with Introverted Thinking type (ENTP). It is easy to find what is hidden behind those four letters on the Internet but not enough to get a better idea of the individual behind them. A good start however is to read the following recommendations:
